ถ้าต่อท้ายประโยคด้วย …wouldn’t you say? แบบนี้ก็จะแปลว่า คุณว่ามั้ย

คำว่า กำจัดอะไรบางอย่าง ภาษาอังกฤษคือ to get rid of something
ตัวอย่างเช่น
We need to get rid of this. เราจะต้องกำจัดสิ่งนี้
หรือถ้าเอาไปทิ้ง ก็ใช้ to dispose of something หรือ to throw something away เช่น
Would you throw this away for me? But please don’t throw away our love!


การเปลี่ยนขยะให้เป็นพลังงาน หรือที่เรียกว่า waste to energy

ไม่ใช่ waste of energy เพราะ waste of something จะแปลว่า เปลืองอะไรบางอย่าง เช่น
a waste of money การเปลืองเงิน
a waste of time การเสียเวลา
แต่ waste to energy คือการเปลี่ยนขยะให้เป็นพลังงาน
